friendly reminder that it's bandcamp Friday

(and will be for at least seven hours yet; this is the last one on the schedule but idk)

in case you had music on bandcamp you were wanting to get, these are days when bandcamp "waives its revenue share" so pretty much everything (I would imagine minus any transaction fees) goes to the artist.

There is a huge difference between the numbers it tells me about supporters for Songs for Pierre Chuvin and the This is Deer Country albums I ...finally purchased. I just really like the latter and I feel like they should get more attention! though they're more or less split up.

ramble tags: I bought Aims and Рожденный в СССР, and the Latin alphabet "DDT" on the album art abuts the title of Aims, (DDTAIMS) in my recently-purchased-assigned avatar.

I had vaguely heard of bandcamp before this but I hadn't realized people could buy music from it. In retrospect, that makes a lot of sense. Anyway, I think I should probably check it out sometime to see if I can find anything I like there. I think my music library could do with some expansion.
